Both women wore white shirts, suspenders, baggy pants, and basketball sneakers, as did the rest of the company, costumes modeled on a photograph of Albert Einstein wearing those clothes. The portable microphone concealed in Sutton’s costume was barely audible—one of the few failures in four tons of sound equipment.
