The 74HC373; 74HCT373 is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS device and is pin compatible with Low-power Schottky TTL. It is specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7A. The 74HC373; 74HCT373 is an octal D-type transparent latch featuring separate D-type inputs for each latch and 3-state outputs for bus oriented applications.
The 74HC373 is identical in pinout to the LS373. The device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with pullup resistors, they are compatible with LSTTL outputs. These latches appear transparent to data (i.e., the outputs change asynchronously) when Latch Enable is high.
The 74HC logic family is speed, function, and pin−out compatible with the standard 74LS logic family.
