But it doesn't change my spell attack hit of Scorching Ray. Is that just a bug or is scorching ray not supposed to get a to hit bonus with a Wand of the War Mage

2020年1月22日 · One thing to consider is that Wizards have many more area effect spells than warlocks, so the improvement of save DCs will go further than improving a warlock‘s save DC, whose spells are typically more focused on one or two targets. so a wizard with an item that improves save DCs is a great find for the wizard.

2024年2月16日 · Yeah, wand of the war mage doesn’t benefit regular pact weapon weapon attacks at all. There’s a lot of stacking like this in A5e. I personally enjoy finding things like this, and IMO it’s not too much because it’s not any different from the archery fighting style, the ranger’s various abilities, or the fantastic zealous stance.

2022年3月4日 · When equipped and attuned, the spell attack bonus at the top of my "Spells" window correctly shows as +10 (+4 wis, +4 prof, +2 wand). Additionally, spells such as Guiding Bolt do also correctly show that their "Hit / DC" bonus is +10.
