2023年8月2日 · 2015 RAM 1500 5.7L Hemi Original owner, bought new and left the dealer lot with 7 miles on it. Bone stock with the exception of K&N Cold Air Intake. 196k and change and still runs like a dream. Motor is stout and trans shifts like butter.. The Hemi MDS gets a lot of hate but it's hard to argue with 22.4 MPG on a 460 mile road trip.

Dealership couldn't figure out problem. Dealership contacted Ram Engineers and opened a star report. The dealership was very kind to provide a rental car (Chrysler voyager minivan).

2021年2月19日 · HEMI definitely pulls timing on 87 vs 89. I have personally noticed a small difference in responsiveness with 87 but the MPG difference is too close to confirm. The cost of 89 is reasonable if you fill at Costco. I just do my own 50/50 mix of 87 and 91 at the pump (in two separate transactions); you just have to do some quick math before each fill.
