2022年7月17日 · I took on the task of getting 100% in Paper Mario Thousand Year Door (the 2nd Paper Mario on Gamecube). While it was fun, Mario RPG is a more straightforward game without a million things to collect. I remember being so stoked when Paper Mario came out, but RPG on SNES will always be my favourite of the bunch. Give Paper Mario a good go!

The writing is such an obvious downgrade in paper Mario that it seems like a couple of high school kids wrote the dialogue. 2021年12月11日 · The writing is simply fantastic. Ted Woolsey's translation for Mario RPG was good, but Paper Mario will have you talking to every NPC multiple times over throughout the game. To say the game is charming is an understatement. The first Paper Mario takes a bit of time to get going, but once you've cleared Chapter 1, it really starts to take off.

2021年7月1日 · When you get into combat, the rules are basically Paper Mario, but with these dice rolls in place of action commands. I encourage you to actually line up figurines on the table to play! It's great fun picking up your character and jumping on the enemy. And yes, there's lots of Paper Mario content stuffed in here, from Koopas to Chomps to Piantas.

It doesn't really come up much on the board anymore but there's still a pretty fleshed out system here and it's really easy to add your own stuff.

2021年8月19日 · Paper Mario partners, in the first two games, were often based off of a standard Mario enemies. Most PbtA games use "playbooks" with Moves linked specifically to them. Basically, imagine if you were playing that you can pick a play book like Goomba with special moves link to it, or even upgrades such as becoming a paragoomba.
