2025年1月16日 · The Advent season is divided into four weeks, and each week features a different liturgical theme. Traditionally, the first week remembers the hope and expectation of the Jewish people as they looked forward to the Savior’s arrival — and it also reminds believers today to wait expectantly for Jesus’ second coming.

Each week, take turns reading and lighting the candle (s). Have someone say, “This is the first week of Advent, and we light the candle of hope.” Then have someone light the candle of hope. Dig Deeper. Talk about the devotion Advent: A Time of Hope. You might use the prayer at the end of the devotion together.
