One of Nakamura’s projects that a visitor to Tokyo might be familiar with is the Tokyu Plaza Omotesanto Harajuku. Located in the Omotesando-Harajuku fashion hotspot area of Tokyo, Tokyu Plaza is popularly known for its entranceway that features a mirror-enveloped escalator, known as the kaleidoscope.

2010年11月11日 · In a press release issued on Tuesday, Tokyu Land, the primary developer of the site, named Hiroshi Nakamura as the architect and said that they plan to officially break ground on Friday, November 12th. The planned completion date is Spring of 2012.

Omohara opened its doors on April 18th, officially becoming the home base for major fashion retailers like American Eagle and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as a host of smaller domestic Japanese brands.
