I have a mini cooper with plastic trim all around the car, and tbh I've yet to find anything that works as well as that. Last a good 3-4 months before it start to slightly fade with regular jet washing, and the bottles only around a fiver! (6-7 dollars) I've used Chemical guys in the past and was so annoyed by all the streaks it left.

What I like about them is that they are small foam cubes that I can use to reach just about anywhere, even honeycomb grills if the customer wants it. Unlike other products like Cerakote, you can actually take a microfiber towel and lightly buff away and high spots and give it a nice even finish.

2022年7月20日 · Without having an up close look at the plastic I would say that the surface of the plastic is degrading due to exposure which causes it to develop micro crack/ surface distortion. It’s the same thing that happens with your headlights on your car.

2021年3月14日 · I did wash the trim 2 times with a brush and Terry cloth towel using dawn soap and wiped down with denatured alcohol and dried 100 percent. I just bought the car and the trim did have something on the trim already.
