Despite the mouse (Logitech G502 Hero) being correctly connected and the LEDs working fine, the cursor was not moving, and the system was not reacting to clicking on mouse buttons. The mouse is working perfectly fine on other Laptops/PCs, therefore I assume it must be a software issue on my main PC.
