2021年4月19日 · This is probably what you need. This adapter plugs into your 10-50 outlet and converts it into a “14-50” outlet which can be used with a Tesla or other EVSE that can plug into a 14-50. This conversion adapter should only be used for this purpose since it does not really provide a separate neutral as well as ground. Use it for car charging only.

2021年8月12日 · I had the same problem with the Tesla wall connector in my garage a few months ago. The garage is semi conditioned so the temperature seldom gets over 80 deg. I confirmed all the wiring was proper and connectors tight in the panel and the charger. After some phone testing and software updating Tesla sent me a new wall connector.

2018年7月19日 · I ended up getting the official Tesla 14-30 adapter to automatically set 24A charging (and 14-30R / L6-30P adapter, 250V version), but if/when I get the special extension cord, I'll cut the neutral (probably trying the angle cut first, then cutting the entire pin after discovering I didn't do a good job ).
