2020年5月29日 · Thanks for the quick reply and access to the PowerDVD softpaq. Appears that a lot of people have encountered this exact same problem. HP support told me that the PowerDVD software was a one-time only deal and the full installer is no longer available.

I would suggest you to uninstall the current version of Cyberlink PowerDVD Software from your Notebook and then after restarting the Notebook, download the Cyberlink PowerDVD and Power Media Player Software from the below link and install it.

My new CyberLink PowerDVD 17 will play a general DVD disc, but it will NOT play a blu-ray disc. My platform, HP Z1 workstation, is verified as capable by the Ultra HD blu-ray advisor that I have downloaded from CyberLink.

I went to HP Recovery Manager and re-installed Cyberlink PowerDVD 12, after it completed, I restarted my laptop again.
