I use thick 2-layer disposable nitrile gloves and reuse them about 20 times before tossing them. The trick is to get as little resin on the gloves as possible to prolong their life, and to have a spray bottle of IPA to rinse the gloves off after every use so that there's no resin left sticking to them.

2021年4月10日 · I use disposable nitrile gloves, or the thicker ones that you can clean with solvent and reuse. To be honest, I would just use the disposable ones. Personally, I take them off, put them in my lab-coat pocket, then use them multiple times. It's not their intended purpose but I also hate disposing of them after a single use.

2022年1月4日 · Two ways to minimize the use of disposable gloves are: Go one-handed for quick checks and etc when two hands aren't needed. Grab some thicker reusable gloves - these can be bought in a few places & will last dozens of print sessions.

2020年11月5日 · great post, thanks for the writeups. what about reusable/non disposable/washable gloves? for wrenching i use gorilla grip gloves but they allow moisture/fluids to seep through so every time i put them on i end up with greasy hands. ive been using regular disposable gloves for detailing but im wondering if there is a better reusable alternative

I've used Hardy's 9mil gloves in the past which I loved but unfortunately HF only sells boxes of 50 pairs, which run out in absolutely fucking no time in a professional shop. Been trying to find a decent box of gloves that'll handle the dirty work of wrenching in a shop but won't tear itself as easily as thin, 'examination' gloves will.

Practically all of the dishwashing style gloves are either very stiff, are loose on my hands, and go up to the elbow. I’m looking for something that fits closer to the hand, and has a length that is the same as a disposable glove (a short wrist).

I remember wondering what would happen if I used a pair of disposable nitrile gloves that had found their way home in one of my scrub pockets. My friends. 2020年6月22日 · In both instances the gloves were the same thickness, but a box of the shitty ones weighed much less than the good ones. I checked the thickness myself by stacking ten thicknesses together and measuring with a micrometer. I believe they were 5.1 mil thick. Caveat emptor. There are also "semi disposable" nitrile gloves.
