It was a startling sight - and sound - to wake up to in Parkville overnight. When they heard the sound of rushing water, people who live on this part of Joppa Road knew it couldn't just be the rain.

Police are responding to a watermain break in the area of High Street in Vernon. A sink hole is also on McLean Street, police said. Connecticut Water responded to the scene.
