The Bering Air Caravan was reported missing at around 4 p.m. local time, according to the Alaska Department of Public Safety.

A search is underway along Alaska's western coast for plane carrying 10 people. The Cessna Caravan left Unalakleet at 2:37 p.m., and officials lost contact with it less than an hour later.
