I love the Big Bus Company - my 'go to' place when I am in a strange city to get a feel for the place. We booked a 48 hour ticket which we got for a 50% seasonal reduction (watch out for promotions, … ACL3112的完整评论

some comments say that one day is not enough for the big bus tour - but one day is all I have. Are there any better ways of getting to the sites in one day?

I would start with the very first Red line bus in the morning, then do the Green bus because it leaves from the same place (Star Ferry Terminal). The Pier 7 cafe is a nice place near the Big Bus stop for sandwiches and other light meal options. Then you'll need to take the Star Ferry to Kowloon and walk a bit to get to the Blue bus route. If you have any energy or time leftover, you can do the included harbor tour and/or the night bus tour. I would not get off at any of the stops on any of the routes. If you do, you'll have to wait up to 30 minutes for the next bus, and then there's no way you can do all 3 loops.
I see that the 1-hr night tour starts at 6:15 PM at Central Ferry Pier 7 and at 7:00 PM from Tsim Sha Tsui. So if we board the bus at 6:15 PM, will the tour get over by 7:15 PM and if we board at 7:00 PM, will the tour get over at 8:00 PM? Kindly clarify. Also, Symphony of Lights is at 8:00 PM. So while on the bus, how can we witness that? Thanks

Hi! If you catch the tour at Central Pier it drives to Tsim Sha Sui via the tunnel and then picks up people there. So the tour officially starts at 7pm and finished in time for you to watch the Symphony of light show at 8pm at Tsim Sha Sui. I believe the bus terminated there so you have to make your own way back across the bay by star ferry or taxi.
A few of the reviews say that you can skip the line for the tram to Victoria Peak. Is this available for all the 3 different ticket options (classic, premium, deluxe) or just one/some of them?
