We would like to find somewhere near here for a family gathering on Christmas day. BBQ, picnic, gazebo, etc for 11 people. Are there picnic benches and a car park available that we could use ?

If you look on the sat nav doesn’t show you the place straight away but you will be able to find it. If you pass a tunnel or arch it’s not far and will be on the left. It is a good distance walk …

It is a good distance walk for the dog :) there are sheep there, If you park in the country park there is an information centre and there is a map of the location which tells you what is around. Have a nice day
The paths are all wide enough for disabled access, however they are quite steep coming back from the river..not sure if there is a disabled toilet but I presume there would be
