The Tanzanite Museum is open all year round and provides guests with a fascinating glimpse into the world of this amazing gemstone. Both audio and visual presentations, including a replica of a Tanzanite mine shaft, along with a personal tour gives its guests the experience of the history, geology and passion surrounding Tanzanite. The museum houses its own boutiques with an extensive range of some of the finest cuts and colours with the opportunity to purchase fuller certified stones. Additional stores are open at Arusha Coffee Lodge, Maramboi Tented Camp, Manyara Airport, Manyara Serena Lodge. Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Seronera Visitors centre, Serengeti Serena Lodge, Kilimanjaro Intl Airport, Zanzibar Airport & Zanzibar Airport.

The Tanzanite experience office is upstairs and a locked showroom that I believe your guide can get you into. First they set you down and show you a video which you can see now on YouTube and I do believe they are much cheaper and you can ask for a better price after they give you the price and they should takeoff a few hundred dollars. The cultural heritage center they might take you to. Also in Arusha would be much more expensive and they sell mostly loose stones. You can buy beautiful, set stones as well as loose stones at the Tanzanite experience. Maasai, jewelry and clothing, and or fabrics can be purchased, if you are going to a Maasai village, very reasonably, I don’t know your itinerary so I don’t know where you will be. if you’d like to phone me my phone number is area code 818-383-7988.
