Hi Janie, Thank you for your question! Yes, February is a great time of year to join us on a Milford Extended Flight! To be honest, any time of the year is great, it really depends on what is happening with the weather on the day. Obviously, we can't predict the weather, so we do recommend you make your flight booking in advance and at the beginning of your Queenstown itinerary. If we cannot fly due to adverse weather, we can transfer your booking to another available day or if you would prefer, we will refund you in full if your flight is cancelled due to weather. The Milford Extended is an amazing flight - it is one of our most recommended Milford Flights & is likely to be the highlight of your time in New Zealand. This flight is away for two and a half hours & includes three landings: Milford Sound, West Coast beach and Mt Tutoko Glacier. We also fly through Milford Sound (high above the cruise boats). Does one need to bring boots and parka for landing on glacier? Do you offer 2 hour trip and if so how much is it from Queenstown? I dont see it listed. I see 20 min and 30 min. Leslie

We were on the glacier last week and on a bright sunny day it was still very cold. Good walking boots with a decent grip are needed, and we were in parkas or equivalent.

Other options you might be interested in is our 30 minute Alpine Scenic flight including a 10 minute snow landing ($330 per person) or our Glacier Explorer 50 minute flight including a 10 minute glacier ladning ($540 per person).
