The Nazis chose Nuremberg to be the site of the Nazi Party Rallies. The still unfinished Congress Hall on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds now …

The information in the interim documentation centre was not displayed in a chronological order making it very difficult to follow. This severely detracted from the experience. The parking is situated…Michael G的完整评论

Such an overwhelming experience. Really moving and hugely informative. Exhibition is sensitive and deals with the difficultly of what to do with such a site of awful historical significance. The area…jojackson2019的完整评论

If we drive from Nuremberg, is there vehicle parking available at the Documentation Center? Is there a charge to park? Also, is there any food or drink available for purchase at the DocCtr? Thank you!

Keith, when we were there last year, there was no problem finding parking, and it was free, but there was also a lot of construction going on to modernize the center, so not sure what that would mean for accessibility now, a year later. But it is a large complex, so there is also parking for other activities, like the symphony, so I don't think you need to be concerned about parking. In terms of food and drink - I don't recall anything in the center itself, but if you walk around the lake, close to where there are boats to rent, I remember seeing some places - it is pretty popular in the summertime.

There used to be an English tour on Saturdays at 2pm. Which is great because you can actually go into the courtroom. It is still in use. I would send them an email and see if they are still doing it. It is totally worth is because it makes the boards and videos you see come to life. The guide i had was excellent but that was before covid
Age recommended is 14. I have small children 7,4 and 1 and no way to see it if they cannot come. are they restricted from entry or is it only advised. Also are the reasons bc the information is just too much? The pictures are too much? It's a place of only quiet and reflection? I want to make a good choice to not bring them if it is just too graphic, but I also would like the opportunity to go if it's more of a "you can keep them from looking at a few pictures" situation.

It’s not that graphic, and I recall young kids there. I think it should be ok.
Is the Documentation Center open during remodeling?
答:
Only part of the Documentation Center at the Nazi Party Rally Grounds is open at present because of the expansion project. The former Permanent Exhibition is closed. A specially...
