Hi, I am going to be in Venice in August. Do you think that it's important to purchase tickets for Peggy Guggenheim ahead of time, or can we just pop in?
答:
I just went to the gallery and only had to wait quarter of an hour before I got my tickets. It was later in the day though
Hello, I am planning to visit the museum on Wednesday, May 15th. There will be 4 of us total. We want to participate in the LEARN presentations at 11am, 12pm 4pm and 5pm. Do you suggest buying the tickets now or at the door? Are tickets valid for the whole day? And are we allowed to exit the museum after the noon presentation and re-enter for the 4 pm? Many thanks in advance for your time, Nan Bambara Dorset, VT USA

Hi-I recommend buying tickets in advance. Tickets are valid for the whole day. I’m not sure about re-entering, but I suggest you telephone and ask before you book. The staff speak perfect English and are very friendly. I recommend you arrive there by boat...you will enjoy the canal view. The vaporetto will take you near there cheaply and is a good experience to see the hustle and bustle of the Grand canal. You can disembark at Academia-Cross the lovely bridge and enjoy the walk to Guggenheim. Enjoy Venice!
