Beverly, thank you for your question. Some of the answers may be a bit confusing as they are replying about our location in Atlanta. In Gainesville our main garden is just over 1/2 mile and is fully wheelchair accessible, our terrace pond and event lawn are also accessible. The only area of the Gainesville location that is not wheelchair friendly is our hiking trails, we have three small mulch trails out through the woods. If you have any questions our number in Gainesville is 404-888-4760, option 1 will get you to the Visitor Center desk.

Linda, There is no restaurant in the Gainesville location and outside food is not permitted. We have a healthy snack machine or you can bring in a small snack and beverage. We do have a great county park just over a mile away for picinicing and we have a printed list of some nearby restauarnts that you can pick up at the admissions desk.
