Lovely woodland area to walk exercise but somebody told us that you can’t ride your bike as my 9 year was riding his bike which I thought was strange especially as there was someone riding a horse . …CARMEN28829291993的完整评论

I think the Common is rather delightful, well maintained and with thoughtful surprises. I walked from my mum’s care home back to the station and my dog loved the wide open spaces and quirky wooden pl…Gemstone4ever的完整评论

I parked near the golf club and memorial hall and enjoyed a stroll (avoiding the golfers). A short downhill walk leads to the main shopping street where I purchased a snack. It is a nice area but t…CarltonA10的完整评论

Just to confirm, I live on Chorleywood Common. The Common Road carpark, opposite the Memorial Hall and the Golf Club has a height restriction of 2 metres. I measured it the other day to ensure that my VW ID Buzz (which is about 194cm) can get in/out without getting wedged under the barriers or ripping the little shark fin aerial off. There is a charge to use the carpark during the week days and a time limit (3hours I think). This is to stop commuters using it as overspill for the train station (not such an issue these days, with more homeworking). The church carpark is for general use. There are no barriers or parking charges. There's Chorleywood Common carpark on the Rickmansworth Road. There's no charge to use it and it has a height restriction if 2m. Next to it, there's another little cricket club carpark and café. Again, there's no charge and a 2m height restriction. Opposite the cricket club is the Chorleywood House Estate grounds, where there's lots of free parking (no height restriction) and nice walks. There is a small carpark near the railway bridge. There is a charge. It's not £85/day. Then there's the train station carpark, which costs a few pounds/day and us right next to the common.
